Lead path crunch very distorted

So while setting up tonight. My friend that usually does lead tries to play but his guitar on the game sounds gainy and distorted. No effects are on and only seems to effect the lead path on our profiles... Also tried multiple cables and all same effect. Different guitars and all the same thing.

 

Is this a Windows issue? Or the game? Tried looking through all sound settings and they look correct
