PC Specification Recommendations

Bass player here.  I need some recommendations for a good PC, sound card, etc.  Not looking to spend a fortune but be able to run Rocksmith smoothly, unlike my 5 year-old ThinkPad.  I have an amp, but normally just play though the PC with my Bose speakers.  Thanks!
