It's some alternate picked octave chords. You play it like a power chord but mute the string in-between, since they are so common most people don't tab them with the muted string.

How would I mute the middle string in particular? Im starting to understand but still seems difficult  :huh: mute with fretting hand or picking hand?

Mute with the fretting hand, if you play powerchords with 3 fingers instead of baring you just lightly touch the other string with the second (middle) finger.

 

If you play powerchords with 2 fingers and barre them you mute it with the first (index) or third (ring) finger by moving it up or down slightly to touch the string.

 

There's quite a few ways to do it, just do whatever is most comfortable for you.

These octaves are easier to play with middle finger on the top note and pinky on the high note. This lets you mute all strings you aren't playing with your index finger. And you just strum like a chord.

the muted string is also left out in the note display, because Rocksmith has problems recognising the chord with a blue muted open string in-between.
