Had some problems with blisters on my right hand finger tips, today I used my Deer-Tallow-Cream, which I use for rowing usally. Seems to work. Do you have problems with Blisters and what Do yo do about it?

I can recall that week, rock on!!

I remember that week, but I think I did not participate because I did not have the songs already.

 

 

 

I want 99 %! But I have no hope of doing that G11 - PO9 - PO7 / A9 - PO7 - PO5 / G11 - PO9 - PO7 / G9 - PO7 - PO6 sequence.

Oh and gave my first try to this. I thought the elders had made mistake with the lead 6, rhythm 7 grading, but no. Rhythm is definitely harder than lead.

I actually made it through SA. Totally messed up all of the parts of the solo I actually had a clue of how to do.

My hand is almost ok, no broken bones, just bruised. I'm back! It's hard to play stretchy parts though

Can't play the stretch part from 5 to 10th fret but managed to beat my previous score on a 1st attempt

 

Lead is much harder to play though...

That was a helluva ride!

So this happened. I mean there is no way of putting it. I busted my nut. I was gently, but firmly vibrating the D string and my nut just exploded.

Well, that's why have two, right?

 

40 minutes of sanding later and I got myself a new nut installed.

My new bass pickups arrived today, so I swapped my original yamaha pickups to EMG's Geezer Butler PJHZ set. Had no chance to do any tonal test with an amp, due to sanding and polishing my nut for so long :lol:

After all that drama and gear fiddling, I finally got to play some bass.
