how do i add custom songs to the orginal rocksmith

Can someone help point me the right direction for how to add custom songs to the original rocksmtih?

    I'm assuming as Bornwild is that you mean RS1 the first release of Rocksmith. The origianal RS only plays .dat files and are loaded into your Rocksmith/Content folder.

    All of the files on this site only work with RS2014. You might have some luck finding old RS1 customs here. (Just make sure you highlight the RS1 radio button)  http://www.rscustom.net/dlc/

    I have quite a few that I saved and your welcome to them . If you want I will send you a link. But you will need to update the app id in the toolkit for some dlc you own.Easy to do.
