Rocksmith 2014 Championship Week 28

@mmrrss

It's a tremolo slide. I'm actually having problems with the chord changes at the end of the chorus. By the time I get to em my hand is cramping so bad I can't hit em properly lol!

More Alice Cooper coming!

  • i have to play Die,Die My Darling in Master mode   Thx @ to Fix the sound   http://s26.postimg.org/9kgs3kemx/smile_die_die_Metallica_Master_99_53.jpg

  • I beat my highscore twice today. Im on a roll baby :D http://i.imgur.com/ApOzuTr.jpg

  • i played this shit like a milion times and im getting sick and tired of the slides... improving the score, but only a little. I had even better score, but i forgott to printscreen and I cant beat it.

I did bonus track in lead (for intermediate) in a song Muse. Remove DD, add sections in RR, changed a fingers positions as i thinking is right. (There is little bugs in RR. impossible set RR to start a song, i dont know why. For learning it is not important.

Finded second bug, after remove DD in ToolKit (DDC), disappeared tech notes (bends 15-17 frets)).

Before add this CDLC, dont forget delete original a file (Muse_Uprising_v1-23_p.psarc).

UPD. I fixed bends, but didnt RR. (It bug appeared after remove DD) New link for download:

After learned song,  please play original part for screenshot. In my version not accurate bands.

Link not working for me, @...

I'd, personally, like an alternative tuning (live) version..  ;)

I'm not convinced anyone would 'choose' to play this in plain old Drop D..

I'll settle for my 99.22% on Beginner (I'm not chasing missed notes for the sake of less than a %) so I'll be concentrating on Intermediate. I'll give your version a go!  :)

I, personally, :)  dont like listen live records. Studio records is  much good for my. For me sound has a large value. Live is good, only if it is real live.

I'm just calling it 'live' in relation to the tuning. It is a studio recording though.

@@Smile very impressive video those early misses cost you a perfect run. I hate when things like that happen to me. You are becoming a great guitarist keep going and don't give up. Pretty soon you will be better than all of us.

From now on if your score has a * next to it in the spreadsheet it is there for my own purposes to let me know not to count the score at the end of the week. It is mainly a reminder for myself to let me know that someone did something that deserves special recognition for. Such as playing a song in master mode or scoring 100% on lead.

great scores from everyone so far but I would love to see some more people play the intermediate song. I will play it tonight hopefully and post my score. I doubt I will get anywhere near 90% as its a difficult song but I will try.

@ great score on the intermediate song I know its a tough one and can be very boring waiting for so long to start playing so seeing you stick with it makes me happy. I have that problem where I can't play it a lot because of all the waiting but I will try and put that past me so I can learn the song. I doubt I will try Riff Repeater on it though.

@ Im not waiting start playing, i play it in RR  a big packet sections. And i when ready (i calculated as  much notes in a song using RR, and i know how much allowed miss for defined percentage) or finish learning on today, only then i start full song for score.

For example: In this song 655 notes, for accuracy=90% allowed miss 72 notes, if i miss in RR more then 60 a notes, no sense go to play full song for score. So i need learning more separately phrases in RR.

P.s I like this a song. otherwise it would dont waste a lot time for it.

So I have 2 scores for Metallica lead:

1st one is from Learn a Song - 96%, 118 streak:

2nd one is from Score Attack - 95.95%, 86 streak:

As I remember well LaS is eligible but wanted to be sure. Had not much time to play and like Flannathir that chord changes are killing me.

Muse song is very difficult but I like the challenge. The chords for the song are very hard to switch to when you don't know them well. I have to practice the chords a bit more to improve on this song. Will keep trying it and see if I can get a better score but this is what I was able to muster for now. I removed the DD from it because I can't get through Score attack lol.

@ Krazyone

If you hate having to wait to play, the for god sakes. Don't play Bohiemian Rhapsody by Queen. You start the song, put down the guitar, takea leak, get some coffe, check email, grab a snack. Then maybe it's time to play.

More Alice Cooper coming!

Lol I love that song actually but I knew exactly what your taking about. I hate when I get to that part when playing the song but I just sing along to it or just listen. It's a great song.

Up on 1 %: 91 % Hardcore solo for me (almost but no enough speed right hand). I hope add yet 4-5 %
