Sorry to steal the win from you MaZtor but i think I just got my MC score up in time, maybe not the GoG score, thought they usually ran 2 weeks in a row, but no problem. Better get started on this weeks GoG, i'll post up again in..... 42 minutes?!?!? ahaha

Like shaggy said, God of Guitars are usually two weeks long and two different GoGs don't happen without a rest week.

@@RdGkA no problem dude, doesn't bother me none, more songs to play! didn't see your post or i might have continued with last weeks song just a little longer, but I've been busy for the last 42 minutes...

 

out of curiosity, is the 5th symphony link the same as the one from the Bachsmith pack? that and the Hendrix pack are the only ODLC's i've purchased!

how have they managed to get around this? i'm assuming it must be a different version? i'll have to download it and compare.

 

edit. just added it my DLC folder and it asked to replace it... so it must be the same one.

funny you chose this, me and my mates were listening to this while playing apex legends last night...

I got paid yesterday so in the week i'll buy new strings for my guitar! I'll be back in action in a few days

Well, I used my Whammy DT pedal so I could pretend my 4 string bass is a 6 string bass. Luckily the bass side was easy enough for me to have some on-the-job training with the pedal work :lol:

My first post for awhile :)

Are the song links broken for anyone else? Sorry if this is a known issue, I haven't been around for a while. Just bought a bass and gonna use this as motivation to practice and get up to speed.

Really underestimated how hard the transition to bass would be

Is Outlaw really a 2? That intro and then solo is ridiculous for beginner. And I know I can't play MR Jones, I've tried before.

I left the champs, because I personally didn't feel like I belong in Inter, I would moan every week that the difficulty was too much, songs also started to become harder. The fun of learning slowly disappeared! I'm back for only my 2nd week for maybe 4months away and now the beginners songs feel like they should be intermediates. And this isn't because I stopped playing, I still played RS occasionally. 

Now I'm either really really shit at guitar or the difficulty levels are just increasing, because the people rating the songs are no longer seeing them with the eyes of a beginner. I'm not sure, but I do know, this isn't as fun as it used to be for me anymore.

 

Edit: I've looked through the scores of the past 10 weeks, there are weeks with no entries from a beginner guitarist and some with one some with two. So I think this is one of two reasons, 1) All the beginners are now too good for beginner. 2) There are beginners wanting to join in with the Champs, but fear to do so because they find the levelling system too challenging, so they don't even post their efforts? 

Good luck to beginners! This is certainly not a level 2 song

Uhm, yep, this is something like 5-6. :lol: If it was correctly tabbed, it'd be like 8-9 probably. You can hear the shredding going throughout the end of the song, and none of that is tabbed. It's a shame there is such a bad tab for such outstanding sounding song.
