GPA sync issue - guitar tracks sync, bass won't (Solved)

I have this file and the guitar works fine, but when I import the XML file, the bass comes in really late, and even if I try to copy and paste it to the beginning of the chart (where the bass starts), it's still not in sync.

When the file is played in GPA both the guitar and bass are in the right places.

Any idea?

If you need the project file and ogg let me know.

Thanks! :D

I imported the bass track and listened to it, it sounded pretty in sync to me, at least from around measure 5 onward. The way this was synced in Go PlayAlong makes things trickier, you probably noticed EOF mention the timing of some of the beats being before the beginning of the audio. It may be easiest to just correct the first few measures' worth of bass notes. Or if you adjust the Go PlayAlong sync so that the first measure has its position set manually, it probably would avoid any issues.

So if I go in and set some markers for the first few measures it should be ok? I guess that figures, since I synced with the guitar part, which doesn't come in til a bit later.....I would've never thought of that!

Thanks! :D

Edit, if I import the bass part newly synced with the existing project file using the guitar from the old one, is that going to cause some kind of measure/bpm conflict?

Edit 2: btw I didn't get any sort of warning about beats/audio (yet), just the bass started really late.

What revision of EOF are you using? The handling for this type of condition was added a while ago.

r1308, but going back and adding the markers at beginning fixed it, thanks! :)

I wish there was a bulletin or something at the top of the page every time EoF and the toolkit were updated....I never remember to check. LOL

Thanks man!
