Can't figure out what is wrong

I used this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9a0J9cSrxKE to try to figure out how to download custom songs. I have ran into an issue. The songs will appear on my song list and i can tune, but when I start the song, the song never comes up. When I play my bass the amps will come on in the back but the song never comes up. I have smashing pumpkins downloaded. I tried a few different songs. None of them work. Thoughts?
