This week songs are

well - 5 years ago that week (CS week 38) i found out about the championship, joined, and have not missed one week since then posting scores.

I am sure there is no more motivating way to learn an instrument on this planet, and our community is a damn nice place to be - THX EVERYONE!!!!

To celebrate that i looked back on those 256 thrilling weeks and present you some of my fav tunes to play out of those. Enjoy and Rock hard! :tada:

 

For the selections - they are not necessarily my absolutely most favs of any class - a lot of songs have become ODLC since played, e.g. "Black Sunshine" of Rob Zombie would else be starting as Beg Song for sure - i recommend anyone to get that ODLC - one of the most fun to play songs i know, others have recently been played or played again recently. And i also wanted to avoid always burning bands that are played all the time here like ´tallica, Dc, Maiden and MDeth.

All of the songs i picked in the end are fun to play and listen to (for me at least). Please be verbose.

Basic cords, but fast and non stop. Good workout for bar cord endurance that I needed.  After a few tries here it is.

I had a magical 700+ streak yesterday, but royally messed up a C chord at the end. Would have been 99+, but ended up with lame 98. What worries me the most is the fact that you seem to have like 5 playthroughs in overall at that song, and I'm already at my limits with 50+ playthroughs. :lol:

@@Rodman, fonk the bass I'd rate depending the technic its played.

this was with fingers, very bad note recognition, my rating if slap is 8-9

 

and this one with cheating plec, better recognition and easier, 7-8

It is addictive!  I never would have tried bass without it, let alone acquire a bass.

Speaking of bass, spent a bit last night working on this.

Yes... and it is clearly charted to be slapped - paired with the hard recognition 9 then.

Awesome. Your ultimate Metric headbanging tune. Unfortunately my neck hurts a 'lil bit since I was sleeping in a bad way for few days a couple weeks back, so I'm careful with headbanging.

(Btw, this is cdlc with bass charted by @@Molice, maybe you can find it in week 42 topic)

Finally got the stretchy part figured out.  I don't like playing it, but I like the sound.

 

 

 

 

 

Yeah and sports tape doesn't work for me.  I have a very low platelet count to start with, so my better half gets upset if I allow things to keep breaking open.  Just takes me a little extra time to heal.  But good news, back to practicing and not a bad score.
