well - 5 years ago that week (CS week 38) i found out about the championship, joined, and have not missed one week since then posting scores.

I am sure there is no more motivating way to learn an instrument on this planet, and our community is a damn nice place to be - THX EVERYONE!!!!

To celebrate that i looked back on those 256 thrilling weeks and present you some of my fav tunes to play out of those. Enjoy and Rock hard! :tada:

 

For the selections - they are not necessarily my absolutely most favs of any class - a lot of songs have become ODLC since played, e.g. "Black Sunshine" of Rob Zombie would else be starting as Beg Song for sure - i recommend anyone to get that ODLC - one of the most fun to play songs i know, others have recently been played or played again recently. And i also wanted to avoid always burning bands that are played all the time here like ´tallica, Dc, Maiden and MDeth.

All of the songs i picked in the end are fun to play and listen to (for me at least). Please be verbose.

Time to aim for that 99 %. Perhaps it's time to visit that intro in a riff repeater.

 

edit: I did some calculating. 98.67 % is 18 misses. My quota is 13 misses, if I want that 99 %. I think I had like 3 random misses in that run. If I can get those random misses away and if the clean parts go perfectly enough, I can forget about the intro.

This week in a couple more days I should be able to start practicing again. Time for the excuse for last week!

 

The reason I had no score last week is I decided to poke a hole in my plucking hand for fun.  I was under the impression that less weight on my hands would make them move faster so I carved a whole through my finger.  By the by, this didn't work.  My wife yelled at me because I would sneak to practice and start bleeding again.  But it seems to be holding together just fine now.

 

 

Yeah good stuff, but the way I used a cable tie to do the damage.

Started practicing the mc bass. 92 % speed was still a tad too fast for me. Will have to do it without slapping, since that's still beyond me. Sorry Fripponomic!

I think Fonk the Blues Bass is in no way a 8, its a 9, watcha think?

@@Rodman no wonder, you caught me with your good taste. I'll play the fonk bass again, hope I can find the time.
