Started to get the hang of it in the middle, then the end messed me up. Overall seems like an easy (for masterclass) fun song to play.

I tend to get really tense during the intro if I miss a note and then I mess up even worse. And I really can't get the strumming pattern to work at the end part, where it is supposed to go: Strum - root - root - strum - root - root - strum - break. All quarter legths. I'm also finding it extremely annoying that the chart doesn't have palm mutes when the main rhythm clearly has palm muted roots everywhere.

Starting the week late due to work stuff and the coming weekend is fully booked with family stuff. What I have:

 

A (second) sight read, not my song, there are too many good songs this week to play.

 

 

 

Maiden, always good, first playthrough and first SA. I did not bother to learn the solo, thus the two strikes in SA. It's supposed to be rhythm after all.

But the thing I absolutely love about maiden is the fact that most of their songs have 2-3 solos and each of the guitarist gets their own. While this is a bad chart of the song, I am glad that at least they kept the solos in each guitar track :)

Broke my high E string and don't have any spares :(

Good thing I have a cheap drop pedal, my basses don't like going under Eb, well except the five string.

 

Also new strange toy that I'll be attempting  the intermediates and beginner pieces with for a bit.  Ordered a fretless precision bass, ended  up with a Pbass body and a Jbass neck, serial numbers all match up.  Think I'm going to keep it. Everything fits and aligns perfectly on it.
