To put it in tl;dr terms...

 

1. Download the song for Mac

2. Use the Rocksmith Custom Tool Kit to change the ID

  2a. How to change the ID:

  2b. Go to  - "Packer/Unpacker"

  2c. Change the song in the drop down menu to an OFFICIAL dlc you actually bought and is installed.

  2d. Then click - "Choose DLC" - Then choose the DLC you downloaded.

  2e. Once it has completed you can close the Tool Kit.

3. Locate the DLC you download (and has now been edited by you) and put it into your Rocksmith 2014 "dlc" folder.

  3a. The "dlc" folder is located inside your main Rocksmith 2014 directory.
