Bass day.

 

 

 

My bass really cant handle low tunings.  The neck is so thin that it flattens out without the tension from the strings, making the action to low and making all the frets buzz.   But Rocksmith really did not care about that.  I think i even play the wrong fret at one point and it still gave me points.

Would be a fun song to play if i had a five string.  Now it was just all spaghetti feeling.

Even after riff repeating for over an hour, I was still able to beat my first try (85 %).

I like the amicable attitude you two show, but I am totally applying the tie-breaker condition to the score boards! :lol: I am especially impressed by the fact that Watro has over twice as much points as Rod has :D

 

This is what i've got so far.........

 

i remember struggling with the Tom Petty song last time and it sounded like shit, but after a bit of work and a lot of trys I not only got better but it sounded better....

 

 

never going to make the Iron Maiden sound any better so i just fumbled my way through it.....

First time entry, 99% accuracy on Die, Die My Darling (Beginner, Bass)

as is usual on a Friday night i don't allow myself any Guinness until i improve on previous scores.......

Hey everyone - hope you all had a good week!  Spring has sprung they say, but the snow in my weather forecast says otherwise.

 

Worked really hard on getting things right this week.  Not a big Metallica fan and the lyrics are not to my liking on this song, but I soldiered through it.

 

Beginner Lead - 98.75%

 

 

 

Definitely thought it went better than the previous attempt. But turned out to be exactly the same -_-

Hopefully, this week, I am able to submit my scores in time...

 

I spent  most of this week toying around with this little fellah. Installed new Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded pickups, Schaller bridge and Schaller Stop tail piece to company the Schaller's locking tuners I installed to it couple of weeks ago. Unfortunatelly the Bridge cover I bought was the wrong size, so only neck is covered for the time being. I wired the humbuckers according to Jimmy Page wiring mod to get 21 different pickup combinations. The first wiring scheme didn't work (or I messed it up), so I rewired it all by following another wiring scheme. Now it all works. Also frets are now polished and it plays beautifully again!

Spent like 420-440 euros on the upgraded parts and the guitar itself was only 400 euros in the first place :lol: But it is my first guitar and I really enjoy the feel of it. It just felt quiet compared to the Schecter Hellraiser I bought last christmas :) Does not feel quiet anymore!
