The important number is always the accuracy. On a draw the streak decides. The score is only used if accuracy and streak are equal, which typically only happens at 100%.

Don't mute the strings when playing these notes, so they kind of like sound like a chord

ah ok so its an arpeggiated cord. Thought so but I wasn't sure and it threw me off so hard when it came up that I missed everything. It wasn't a championship song though, just a song I really like from the 90s, so no big deal. Thank you @@ZeroPingNZ you dabes.
