Thanks. Also DLGamer are selling PC/Mac steam keys for 12.99 GBP or 19.49€ (strangely not on their US store though?!?) which works out similar if not slightly cheaper than  $24 for British/European buyers.

has anyone actually used this to get a copy working on a pc?

I can't see a way to do it - since everything is saying Mac only - and as far as I can see, MacAppStore, doesn't provide a steam activation key.

Disregard - I got it working.

 

MacGameStore hadn't processed my payment immediately because I was using an AMEX gift card.

 

Once its properly billed, you log into the MacGameStore site, go to your Account / My games and there is a Steam key there that you can then throw into your PC's Steam account.

 

No need for a mac at all.

I bought from DLGamer and the transaction was very smooth, just had to verify my email and paid by paypal - received the steam code within 2 mins.

I've just done the same, waiting on my key coming through.

 

I'm a member of a Football Manager game forum too, and we're partnered with DLGamer, so I'm used to using them. Very reliable 

 

EDIT: Thought I was being clever buying this, thought I could maybe find a workaround to not having the cable. No such luck, it seems :p
