Hi! Elastica is not showing up in the search. The rest of the songs are, and are all playable. I'm on a mac, so they're all converted. I thought maybe Elastica ID is something other than Cherub Rock, but it isn't. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Elastica is in ignition forge search, but you don't need to search. Links are all in the topic header. As for your Mac, you'll find most files are for PC, (PC superior in my opinion) You can find files for songs created for Mac, PS3 and 360. But mostly PC. Maybe if you comment on the Elastica song page, someone might make a file suited for Mac? Or perhaps learn how to convert them yourself?

There's a misunderstanding. I have the CDLC all downloaded, and installed. When I mentioned the search, I was referring to in-game. All the other CDLC appear in both Learn a Song and Score Attack. Elastica does not. I converted them all to Mac using the toolkit.

You can check the song id with the same toolkit (and even change it if I'm not mistaken). If you can't change it with the toolkit, PM me and I'll tell you how to change the ID using command line.

Cool mix of lead and rhythm. It's always nice to see how certain parts are supposed to be fingered. I'm mostly talking about those half barres, which I took as full barre and tried to strum what was shown (keeping the low E string muted) and that quick D and B string part at the intro and outro riff. Nice and effortless! :muscle:

 

I think your guitar was a bit on the sharp-side of the tuning though.

Thanks dude. Yeah generally people don't play the full barre chord. Also using the thumb over neck muting or playing the E and A string generally helps for certain kind of chord phrases a la Jimmi Hendrix or SRV. :)
