Sound for bass, but not for guitar

This just happened to me a week ago or so: I have no sound when I plug in my electric guitar. But, gameplay is perfectly fine when I use my bass. All of the knobs on the guitar are set to max. The guitar sounds fine when I plug it into my amp. And, I'm playing with a new real-tone cable.
