Sorry for getting this out so late, folks, but I put some time in to make it a good one with accurate ratings.

 

Lost! is a short but sweet loungey instrumental. On lead, it's a 3... until the brief but blistering solo thing, where it's a 7 for 5 seconds. Hang on tight!

 

Royal Republic is catchy radio rock with a fairly medium difficulty chart on each instrument.

 

Moon Theme is a METAL COVER of the NES Duck Tales game, fuck yeah. Like Lost!, it's a short, fairly easy Adv on lead, until he wildly shreds on the solo.

 

And Ne Oblivscaris is beautiful and brutal across the board. A great 9+ for the week the gods rest.

Year 200X was a lot more easyi to fake than Royal Republic ;)

Royal Republic...never disappoints.  They do what they do un-apologetically.  I hate to say it, but they may be growing on me.

So, my first listen of this weeks Intermediate song had me going "yow, I maybe should have stayed at the beginner level", but after a few more listens, I gave it a try at sightreading and didn't do too bad, so into repeater I go.  Even gave a couple shots at the rhythm and bass parts too.  The song grew on me through the repeats too.  Hope to work on those runs in the guitar parts and improve the lead and/or rhythm score.  Bass was just to see what it was like compared to the other parts.

 

Lead: 88.7%

 

 

Rhythm:  86.3%

 

Bass:  90.9%

Wow, this is insane. More like a difficulty 12  :lol: If this was a more enjoyable song to listen to, I'd probably give it a few more attempts. But sadly I think it sucks.

Late start this week, just came back from a trip in New Zealand, went to see The Eagles :) Tried to play some of their songs in Rocksmith but way beyond my skill :(

 

 

 

 

 

I like the Intermediate song this week, will need to practice a lot but it's doable

 

 

 

 

 

Not quite sure how to play this part with fingers... I can confidently do it at 75%. Tried a pick and can go up to 85%, then it becomes a mess.

Looking at the band name and album cover "oh no that looks like some awful death metal song"

Beginning "oh yes this is actually quite pleasant, what a nice surprise"

This was supposed to be the scouting run before score mode plays but it'll have to do because I'm not playing it again

 

 

Maybe some bonus Duck Tales later.. Never not play Xstatic customs is my motto
