[BASS] Rocksmith tuner having issues picking up low tunings

Anyone have this issue? or is it me.... i even have a six string bass where it cant pick up the tuning. im no bass expert, but should i get thicker strings for them? if so what do you guys recommend

    @@iatenemo RS tuner cuts off on the low B and will never recognize it as is. We use a workaround to make songs work like this but this only make the tuner for that song work.

    You can buy also an Instrument Cable and and Tuner like the Korg GA 40 and use it instead of the Ingame Tuner. I ever do it because i found that that RS Tuner is not so good for all Tuning outside E-standart and Eb.
