Bass day.

 

 

Really enjoyed the chart for the bass part on ectopic, but i dislike playing bass in that low tuning.  My bass neck is so thin it get convex with the lower tension on the strings, and that causes fret buss.  Maybe its time to get another bass for lower tunings.  My wife will love this.

 

 

Also had a few tries on the Japanese weird music.  Kinda starting to like it.

@@MaZtoR, I would highly recommend digitech drop pedal for the low tunings.  I am sure you heard this before, but it makes things real easy to play things in c# standard for example.

Wow...felt like it was a bad run, score was pretty bad, but somehow my accuracy was my best.  This song makes me feel crazy.

For me at least this song is pretty hard - I wont get any where close to be able play it by the end of the week

Here's my submissions for the week.  I love the song but hate playing lead on it.

 

 

Once again a bit late to the party but I'm really loving prog-week. Although that probably means I have an advantage this week because it's some of my favorite music to play and I'm used to playing 10+ minute songs.

 

 

Really having to work this week - I'm up to a mere 80.3% for Beginner - Lead after a lot (and I mean a LOT) of effort.  Those chords at 11th and 13th frets are just killing me, whether I try to play them with 4 fingers or just 3 (well, for the 11th fret one at least, I know the 13th is a barre +1.  The beginning triplets into those chords are not the easiest either.  Overall I think it's a nice challenge this week for us in the Beginner group.  

 

Accidentally played lead and barely hung on.
