Think difficulty level 3 is more appropriate for this. While it's slow, but it tends to start things with an off-beat, which is rhythmically a bit more challenging. And it seemed to have some notes with syncopation as well.

Needs some riff repeater, because things are very very weird there. But that's japanese bass playing in a nutshell (or music for that matter).

There I was thinking that the level of this song is all wrong, and boom. No idea what it was, but it caught me off guard so badly. Cool sounding song though! Really enjoying the use of those diminished chords there.

Seeing other comments makes me feel better. I tried both BEG and INT lead in SA to be kicked very fast :(

Thanks to @@diceslinger's idea, I have some motivation to detune ;)

I can't wait to see @@NunoJBSilva.Guitarist play that B-string part all casually like he's not even bothered! For me that's thunderstruck all over again. Everything is fine until 80 % speed and then boom. Catastrophic failure in all skills.

Still didnt nail it. :) I think I'll be able to do until Saturday but let's see. I'm doing the same tempo as the song but a bit clumsy special the 2nd time that this part changes a bit and you have to do bigger jumps.

 

I believe Thunderstruck is a little bit easier since Angus, I'm not sure, is playing it with pull offs which makes a lot easier than just picking it like this song.

I think on record he's picking every note, but he's definitely doing pull-offs and hammer-ons during live shows.

This is rather easy for ADV, a 6 maybe? I'm doing the the b-string sections with pull-offs, but always hit the wrong frets in the second section.

I seem to keep getting out of sync with it or something

Hey guys I haven't been around for a couple years. I've been wanting to get back in the championship.

I was going to last week and was getting along well with the beginner and intermediate songs. But I thought the entries had to be in on Sunday. So I missed it.

This week me and Valerie are not doing so well. A lot of quick movements with unfamiliar fingering. Can't get past 80%.

 

I'm not even going to try the intermediate song after all your comments. So maybe I'll throw in on bass this week.

Little late to the party, but here is the first of my guitar runs.

Tried SA and it didn't buck me off, so did it a few times with positive gain.

Strange ratings this week, my best effort so far is lead Advance first play. (it says 2 plays, because I watched it first,b4 tuning down  :lol: )

Computer is running on board GPU for the foreseeable future so graphics are a bit screwed but It was def full difficulty so ignore the (randomly flickering) orange bars of the practice screenshots unless I can put in valid SA scores!
