So I have looked through forums and I have done plenty of research, however, no matter what I try, I can NOT get the darn cdlc to work. When I load the game with the dxd9_42.dll file from the google drive link from this website, the game does not launch at all (I looked in the task manager and everything) All I get is the windows problem reporter open for a second then close. On the other hand, when I take the dll from a website (https://www.dll-files.com/d3dx9_42.dll.html to be exact) the game launches just fine, but when I launch up the cdlc I go through the common story of just amps with no menu screen. Help is appreciated. Thanks!
ps I already tried launching from steam, launching exe, running as admin, all that stuff
