The Rhythm track is more difficult to keep up.

 

The start is difficult, hence the 2 strikes, but after that it went well

However, It seems like the bass and Rhythm part of Requiem are very similar. Why is one a 4 (on guitar) and the other one a 7 (on bass) ?

Bigger neck ? Right hand technique ?

Hey hey everyone!

A few runs on bass,

 

Looking for that one last note to complete the set.

 

Wow...this is a finger flying workout!  I think RS was generous, it didn't sound that good.

 

Gave it some practice love. Decided that the best way to train the arpeggio part is to turn off rocksmith and just remember the chord changes.

Don't know why I've never played this song before, but I love it!

Some unplugged morning practice. I guess this makes me a happy man.

 

Sounds a lot nicer unplugged than in rocksmith. That open D in rocksmith sounds way too loud and in overall the tone of that clean is way too loud. It's supposed to be a pretty quiet phrase.

 

However, It seems like the bass and Rhythm part of Requiem are very similar. Why is one a 4 (on guitar) and the other one a 7 (on bass) ?

Basses have larger frets, bigger distance between strings, higher action and thicker strings.  All those things makes it harder to play fast.  

I find it a lot easier to play this on a guitar.
