I don't have answers, but I will offer encouragement.  Fight through that plateau!  I heard a quote recently that good players practice what they are good at, great players practice what they aren't good at.  

 

 

I remember 2016 when this went up and I haven't improved very much in two years. but I know I'm much better.

I'm barely a 5 out of 10 in lead and rhythm now in 2019 and back then I was 3/4 out of ten.   Also I've spent maybe 300 PLAYING hours on Rocksmith since then, why Im  I so slow in learning?

 

 

 

That rings true if there is something I struggle with I just don't bother.

Had a little time tonight

Has I struggled with the transitions and the rhythm, I tried to write the song structure on a paper and really play it. I may be on something

Back home, time for some bass.

Had to try Paradise City.

 

Then back to my class.

 

Also gave it a run on lead...pretty fun song.

 

I'm not sure which song is going to be counted for intermediate rhythm, so I tried this one.  Pretty bad playing.  Not good at the 3-3-5 3-5-5 mix with the power chords.

I only had time for one sight reading this week:

That takes a lot of energy to play. Tried again and it was only 96 %.

Finally improved my score...been grinding on it.  Had to break it back down in RR cause I was practicing my mistakes rather than improving.

 

This one turned into a vendetta...I finally got through it in SA after 7 tries.

Bass line for the week.  I kinda liked playing this one

 

A little better on Rhythm too:

Sick of this song, this is best I got

 

Can't be bothered to use RR and learn it, it makes me yawn

 

Amorphis is actually quite easy! Sight-read, 1st attempts

 

 

Even tried MC song... I just some random notes and got 80%+! Rocksmith is very forgiving

 

 

I was in a trip this week, so not many time for practice.

Not a fan. No RR on this one 

Jesus, that damn ending! Don't have a great deal of time to better this, gotta go out soon. An I wanna work on some beginner lead.

Someone else can win Advance Bass today  :lol: Honestly some great Bass performances this week, people are stepping up! So whoever wins it today was a well worthy winner!
