Had 18 misses at 96 % speed before going back to SA. Two attempts, 32 and 34 misses.

@@Toni-Wan Kenobi is better than me. If he stays in beginner Lead, it would be presumptuous of me to accept the promotion... especially considering I try INT Lead every week and seldom reach 80%...

We can see the rules from the other side i.e. I will continue to play INT songs and if I manage to score >79% two weeks in a row, I will accept the promotion ;)

Regarding @@diceslinger, he clearly has the level to move up, both in Lead and Rhythm, but I would understand if he decides not to has Toni and myself bailed out...

I've made a 10% improvement on Inter lead, then no improvement after a few more plays.
The ending to little drummer boy is insane, I agree it's a lvl3 but man the end has to be a 5.

@@meelo I know you're better than me but please don't disregard this advise because of that. Focus on relaxing your hands and body while playing, if you play while tense you will cause a repetitive stress injury over time. I gave myself mild carpal tunnel while playing TF2 competitively a few years back, it was not fun having my hands go numb randomly. Relaxing will also help your speed and accuracy. This is honestly good advise for anyone playing an instrument or playing a competitive video game and you probably already know it but I don't want to see anyone getting hurt. If you find you can't get relaxed while playing, I would say pause the song and take 10 deep breaths, in the nose and slowly out the mouth, using your diaphragm. It's almost guaranteed to make you relax if you breath out slower than you breath in.

i'm glad you brought this up @@PinKushin i have been suffering R.S.I for about 9 months now which i put down to the added workload i have been put under ....... but having said that the guitar does not help relieve the pain but i can usually get through the pain on most songs.

but this week the Kinks song is killing me  :( something about the chord swaps (which don't usually have a problem with)

 

anyway this is the best i can do for now as i can only play it once in a very small row.....

 

 

 

and Bass hurts the other wrist.......because i use a pick i guess...

I have to warm up properly in order to play this Kinks song (and the same applies to the official Kinks song in rocksmith), otherwise it starts hurting my wrist a lot for some reason. For this particular song it seems to be enough to play the song at increasing tempo before playing at full speed. Something like 80, 86, 92 and 96 % speeds.

 

Are you feeling pain in your strumming hand when you play that bass song? That's weird! The 1-4 finger stretches were the ones that were hurting me the most. Again, until my fretting hand was properly warmed up.

Is the Little drummer Boy Lead really a 3, I had 3 strikes (again) on SA :(

 

I'm not sure I will get to 80% by the end of the week...
