When you play a song, press space to enter Riff Repeater mode. Select a song phrase you want (O,P,0,9 keys as far as i remember) ( if song has a DD) and now you set the song speed to whatever level you want and practice it slowly. ;)

Can't test my Lead/Rythm arrangements  'cause my guitar is broken. I play bass mainly.

The original Rocksmith had the accelerator -- the new Riff Repeater replaces that, but the concept remains the same -- you can set the speed to rise as you master the section.

I am still far from being good but, I finally started using Riff Repeater and it's by far the best way to go. Instead of struggling through a song I keep playing the same phrase till I get 100% difficulty/speed and it kicks me back into the rest of the song. It's def the best way to go while still learning.
