I can play Floyd everyday even when it is difficult to progress, but I am progressing.

 

Lotsa time with the King for me this week.  I keep getting my fingers twisted up somehow, but managed to break 95% after being stuck at 89 since Sunday.

Try adding the image just as a link. Just paste the location of the image and don't go to the add image option.

Looks like this works... kind of.  98.77% on beg rhythm.

That'll work, but photobucket gives you that automatic IMG-tag copying feature on the right side of the picture. (email, html, img, direct). You can just click the text box next to IMG, and it should copy a working IMG-tag syntax to your clipboard, which you can just paste in to the reply.

Having so much fun practicing this solo at the end, but man, I feel like I'm learning to play all over again!

Felt a lot better than 87 %, but that's what happens when 20 % of the song is the solo :P

Yeah Meelo apparently so. I'm so bad at soloing the only Lead pieces I can deal with are the ones that are essentially copies of the rhythm line with occasional fills.  I  never could wrap my head around the lead lines anyway, and since I dislocated my pinky last year I've gotten stiffer in my fretting hand. 

 

Strictly speaking, I fit in the "range" for Advanced Rhythm in that I can usually pull off > 77% on 'Advanced' songs, but I've never been competitive at anything other than Intermediate.  I just happened to have played the crap out of Seek and Destroy so the muscle memory carries me through.

Did some good RR work on a couple of sections and totally faked my way through the whole solo.. lol

 

Gamut raining down some firstplay scores outta the clear blue.

 

 

I've barely touched this one since Week 100, but it's nestled pretty deep in my muscle memory and I still remember it like yesterday.

 

 

This one's pretty fuzzy, though. Let me get back to you on this one.

Also tried Lead. The solo is just me fiddling the appropriate pentatonic boxes hoping the notes match somehow :)

 

 

Still not good. At least I have the first solo part down.
