I've been hoping for this song.  So fun on bass!

 

Love this song too!  Definitely some room to improve.

 

 

Trying to stretch to the next class.  This was a wild ride!  I got two Xs in the first 3 sections and just hung on for the rest of the song!

Songs that can actually be played over and over and over without hating them, excellent week.

 

 

 

1st try - blow out on solos

 

 

 

Significant time in RR, got first solo and 1/4 of main solo. Not much of a % increase means most of the notes are in the solo.

 

Wow...harder than I expected.  Lots of work this week.

 

 A bit easier time on rhythm...

 

This is the song I really want to work on.

A good bit of work to get this song this far.

 

 

 

My son tried rhythm, it was way over his head.  But a small improvement on lead for me.

 

And a small improvement for my rhythm

 

This song is way over my head, but tons of fun!

 

@@Rodman what do you mean Seek & Destroy (no lead) - LEAD?

It's the multitrack file, where the lead is played by you only - meaning there is no lead in the backgroundtrack. Scary? Yeah but wonderful to play - highly recommended.

Some all time guitar songs this week. A couple of my absolute favorites.

 

This song was probably my first epic Rocksmith experience. Made me feel like I could actually play a little. No one bends a string quite like David Gilmour..

 

This was one of the very first riffs I ever learned.. back in the day..

 

I know this song very well.. but holy hell the chart on this is quite different.. very difficult

 

One question @@Rodman, how did I lose my diehard status? I think I only missed a week here and there.. but it was mostly just because I forgot to post scores.. lol

I had some time yesterday to try the new songs. Nice week !

Rhythm is relatively easy... 

 

But Lead? Come on, Intermediate?

I tried this song like 10 times a few months ago and decided to do SA this time... failed miserably!

 

 

Second time was a bit better...

 

Screw that. Tried LAS and it wasn't bad!

 

I feel like it's doable with at least 5 hours of practice... actually wanted to add it to the song selection list when I get to this level but oh well...

 

Tried Metallica and was surprised that it's actually not that hard to play. Even the solo, despite being very fast, is just scales for the most part.

 

 

Was intending to play the lead track for this, but had the path to wrong

I find Jail House Rock, super difficult! Gonna take many, many play throughs!

Does anyone have a clue how to correctly strum the Comfortably Numb rhythm track? As far as I know, it's actually played with a synthesizer in the studio version and in reality it has a lot less strumming. I try to do something pretty and it quickly starts sounding like a spam, since the game disagrees on what is pretty.

 

So far I've watched two different youtube tutorials on how to play the song and they both had way different strumming patterns to what I'm seeing in game.

The rhythm track got a lot easier. I can do the intro-riff at the beginning of the song, but I seem to lose it when it comes again at the middle of the song. Exhaustion kicks in!
