Why are you guys making an old guy work so hard when I'm back into the swing of things.  Well here you go. Two intermediates this week and the Metal Heart one I was having huge problems with, couldn't

When I eye the intermediate song it says "You aren't ready!"

Maybe not on Lead (at least this week) but on INT Rhythm, you rock !

Have you tried ADV Bass ?

First run this morning after lots of RR last night.

This song is growing on me :)  I want to see the showdown between Metalheart and Iron Man!

@@Bounours thought I should try advanced bass.  I think he is trying to get rid of me ;)  It kicked my butt.

Rhythm wasn't much better.

Advanced rhythm you say? The song seems to say a big fat no O_O

The lead ain't much better. (Although, I did spend an hour practicing it and got it all the way up to 79 %!)

This took a surprising amount of practice. Still messing up the picking pattern every here and there, but I'm satisfied with this

This is kind of fun.

And this is rather annoying. That tone makes that 9th fret harmonic sound really bad. Unsurprisingly, I'm missing notes at the very same spots I missed at bass and lead. But I got to be honest, this is probably the first song where I fully trust my legatos and don't have an urge to pick the pull-off note. Actually had an urge to do hammer-on-pull-off combo in the lead version's main riff.

Getting there... Kind of fun to play. Lead is technically easier, but the switches are more bizarre.

So, should I accept that intermediate -> advanced promotion in rhythm or not. I'm currently tilting towards advanced.

I hated Royal Republic prev. time. I hate it this time too.

UPD: OK. I hate every song. I guess I need to stop.
