Hi,

I was going to buy the first rocksmith so I can play other songs that require the game. I only want about 7 songs from the game. My question is, if I own RS1 and someone gave me a song from the game. Will I be able to play that song from the game on my pc without having the transfer tool? I would rather buy the songs from RS1 individually.

Thanks for your time and help.

Hi,

There are some songs that are for sale, but you need RS1. Eample: Rush - Subdivisions and Billy Idol - White Wedding.

My question is. If I buy RS1, will I be able to play those songs without having the disc transfer key?

Thanks for your time and help.

P.S.

I wish it was eaiser to make CDLC. I would spend more time making songs then playing them. lol

@@Shawn Those are anomaly due to Steam being fucked up but yes, then only buying RS1 will be enough because of steam limitation that prevent you to buy DLC for a game you don't own.

It already took years to get that situation sorted in the first place saddly but i'll report those cases to the people that will have more options to deal with it at the proper level.
