I hope you didn't play that Sailing Man rhythm track 15 times for this week's competition, as only the lead is part of the week (but don't worry, it's easier!)

Is that where y'all are keeping the missed notes I've been looking for?!  I was briefly considering it last week, but then this week's beginner lead tune put me back in my place.  It is kicking my butt.  

 

I reckon intermediate class is calling thy name ;)

Got one of the missed notes....still hunting that last one.

 

Hmm I keep failing at the easy part of the song. Random misses at the 0 7 0 6 0 5 0 3 0 riff just to ruin my streak. Weirdly enough, I kept hitting ~60 misses when I practiced just the end part in riff repeater at full speed, and suddenly when I finally allow myself to get to the solo in SA, I pull out a magical 48 miss playthrough followed by a legendary 40 miss playthrough, out of which two were at the easy part! Definitely helped to move the bendy parts down a string and further up the neck. :)

Also I tried this. It was fun and games until the midway marker when it pulled out those weirdest chords ever, and they flew past me so fast that I was still shaping my hand to the chord when another chord had already went by :D Definitely a lot of room to improve, but don't have time to practice this.

Looks like photobucket is having issues only with edge, chrome brower works fine with the website.

 

Made some improvement

 

@Toni-Wan Kenobi  It might be Edges cookies.  I had the same problem with firefox a few months back.  Deleting every cookie with photobucket in the name fixed it.

At least some Tom Petty on guitar.

I everyone, finally i decide to play the championship, my first week.... I have a lot of fun playing the sailing man and the Tom pettys song ( just a little difficult for the game recognize all these bends) Supercell's song doesnt work for me (beatiful song but is not my style), thank you in advance

Admittedly I didn't have the motivation this week to really practice as much as I should have and when I did, I just couldn't get my fingers to do what they should.  One can only play riff-repeater for so long . . . :)

 

So, best I managed was a mere 88.6% on Beginner Lead path:
