I agree this week's songs are not rated correctly:

 

First play through no RR at all, butchered the solo of course but the adv lead seemed to be the easiest to play:

 

 

 

Int - This is not a 5.5, I clearly don't understand how to play this song with fretting and strumming/picking.

 

 

 

The beginner lead doesn't seem like beginner. I RR the first part several times then tried to play it but the vibrato "solo" section was a miss. It also seems too fast for beginner.

Some improvements on a Monday, that is rare for me.

 

Runnin down a dream is with no doubt - ADV (7) - you master those bends at 99%+ - you are MC!

Btw, how are you supposed to play that last open E? Kind of sounds like a pickslide.

4 hours in riff repeater doing those solo parts. Trying and crying. I can do them just fine, but my timing is way off, and I can't watch my guitar and the rocksmith screen at the same time to try and sync the timing on the fly. Frustrating!

I don't want to play this stupid elevator tune anymore. (But I still have bass to go :( )

I'm only doing IM this week, Supercell is way to hard to read with how far away the camera is and I wasn't having fun trying to learn it.

No, that's totally extra. Although I must say it's weird that there is a 4-string bass version for that song, when the band's bassist clearly plays 6 string bass :P The 6 string version is under the rhythm track if you still want to take a look at it :)

Well I had to try. I think there is some sort of error in this one, I think they ran out of zeros in the programming code and had to replace one 0 with 6.

Really loving the songs this week, super hard but besides liking the songs in general. I personally find it to be more fun when it's difficult to play a riff instead of just stressing over not missing the same riff through out the whole song. Also surprisingly, I find the masterclass song to be a bit more difficult then the gog song which shows in my scores. I guess playing a lot of Dream Theater makes playing songs longer than 10 minutes a lot easier.

It's hard to learn pinch harmonics since it requires a lot of trial and error, took me a while to learn as well. One thing that might help is that like natural harmonics, pinch harmonics are location sensitive so try moving up and down the string until you find an area that works. That was a problem for me when I started trying to learn how to do it because I was picking in the wrong spot so I could never get it to work.
