Perhaps a bit easy for an 8. I have a false sense of confidence with this one. I feel like I could do it near perfectly if I spent a day or two doing those solo parts in riff repeater.

Still doing the beginners song - nice one this week.  Never heard it before but the melody is beautiful.

 

So far, best I can do on Lead is 88.99%.

Very busy with work this week so only managed to play once in three days...

My best attempt. LAS was lower, surprisingly.

 

Never thougt i'd play a Taylor Swift song ever, but i gave it a try, Turns out it's not as bad as i thought it would be.

That arpeggio's picking pattern is hard to remember and it's very hard to see where the chord changes. So I just strummed through the chords (with varying success) at the intro.

 

 

well... that opening is rather MC part (8) - i had to finetune the scrolling speed that it is well visible, and i think it works out ok - i cannot play that cleanly, too, but it would be learnable in RR quickly. I tried to show the Chords clear so that it´d be a bit easier.

 

Any suggestions for improvement - i ´ll go for it.

Perhaps add the Arpeggio notation to each chord changes, or if possible, manually add Am, Dm, C labels to the first notes of each first notes of arpeggio chords? The messiness of chord changes in parts like these seem to be a common problem with most CDLCs. Kind of impossible to go through the section with pure sight-reading.

 

Another hard to read kind of issue is with the C, partial C and C5 chords (and why not Am/A5 and Dm/D5). I know when you are strumming a chord up and down a lot, you don't usually strum the whole chord when you strum upwards, but tabbing those partial strums as a separate chords makes it look very messy and hard to follow. But I think this is more of a rocksmith problem than a charting problem. (If you want to see something that looks like a total nightmare, check out Avenged Sevenfold - So far away. relatively easy song, but because of the strumming notation, totally unreadable).

This week I'm happy. I have achieved my best percentage for a lead guitar. I know it's not 100% but near enough to make me happy:

I don't like the original song, but this cover destroys any semblance of musicality in attempt to fit in Leo's normally interesting spin-offs on rhythm lines.  It feels like tone-deaf down-tuned needling from a usually interesting cover artist, and certainly proves to me that sometimes one should just not try to insert more notes into ringing chords just because one can.  But hey, not every Cover or Parody is gold.

@@meelo Awesome job man! I was playing just now and noticed your score. I can't seem to hit 100% unfortunately. Nor could I improve Advance. But the Guitar gods have been kind to me today, my first Championship lead 100%  B) Twice in a row I might add  :lol:

@@meelo How do you tell what note you're failing on in score attack?  Is there some tool you are using?

@ The sound of *KOSH* made by the game is a clear indicator :P And since I know from the leaderboards that the song has 666 notes and 99.84 % accuracy equals to 665/666 notes played, I know for sure which note I missed.

Finally perfect. But sloppy :( Got so stressed out that I'll screw up at the very last moment. But I'll take this. First time getting 100 % on all bass tracks :)
