Changed Laptop and DLC Stopped Working

Hey all,

I have recently upgraded my laptop and have been havign problems playing any CDLC track on Rocksmith 2014. I definitely have the D3DX9_42.dll in the dlc folder. Also, I have removed all the CDLC and imported a new one and had that in the dlc folder as the only CDLC just incase one of the old ones had been corrupted but it still doesn't work.

Whenever I try to start a CDLC track, the only thing I see are the two amps on each side but no notes or anything appear at all. I am unable to go back to the start screen or anything so I have to forcibly close the game. It isn't frozen though, I can still get sound out if I play.

Hopefully it's an obvious fix, but I can't figure it out alone.

Also, all of these tracks worked perfectly on my old laptop a few months ago, but there might have been a change since then.

Make sure the dll have the correct name and is in the correct place, note that CFSM can do all of this automatically for you which will avoid any issue with the dll.
