The bass'part of this song is not very difficult, just a little fast for beginners. But i like this groove!

 

I'll try the score attack as soon as possible.

Ladies and gentlemen, i have a problem with the thunderstruck song.

 

On the first pre-chorus the bass plays this:

Is it normal?, i found it weird and non musical to hears.

 

Not sure what to do with that G bend thing on the E string.

 

Also scorers, my racers score was credited to stark_knight, don't think he'd want that score :)

@Telboy  I'm having more problem with the picking pattern at the start of thunderstruck (rhythm) than anything in brianstorm (rhythm).

Sure Rocksmith is totally fine with you just strumming away at the powerchord and ignoring the picking pattern but that is not the point of it.

But it might be just me that have problems with it.  It can be like that sometimes.

 

If you want me to change difficulty just give me a shout and ill make it happen.

I'm trying to do the strumming pattern as correctly as I can, but I do get random misses. (I reckon it's: root and full chord down picking, 5th and octave up picking with kind of a "ti-di-dii-dii-di-di-di-dii-dii-di" pattern.)

@@MaZtoR its not a problem, I must admit that i never even noticed a picking pattern on the ACDC song so i just went for the strumming (which is hard enough for me) but i am having real trouble with the Arctics.......... but seeing your score has given me a target, cheers.

 

anyway i have been concentrating on the KOL track today in pursuit of perfection,

 

 

was going so well i just stuck with it.....

 

 

another go proved too much for my E string, i think the palm mutes killed it.....

 

 

 

oh well, another set winging its way from Amazon....... time to use the Sheraton II which is already tuned to Eb

Okay, I was so surprised and thrilled to see that I won last week beginner bass.. till the moment I realized I was the only real participant on this category LOL. But anyways I'm sooooo happy to participate, that it's ok. Now this weeks scores:

 

 

First tries for this week

I had a lot of note recognition issue on this one. The two strikes are at the end when I tried to play a E chord trying to figure what's happening and forgetting to play the song :(

After some tries, I think it may be my the strumming, omitting the G strings and then, changing the chord to an E5 instead of E...

@@Telboy, Just curious,  Do you transpose on the fly to play the same notes on different strings or actually edit the CDLC to create a bonus track with your note pick for the 6 string?

I forgot to post this last night. Sight read on bass Holy Roller Novocaine = 100%

@@2groggy I have no idea how to edit a CDLC , and I would never play bass on an (emulated) six string..... if that’s what u meant

I'm not sure about that tremolo-part at the middle. It doesn't sound right with tremolo-picking, not that I can get more than 3 picks in with the bass. I reckon they just activate a tremolo pedal at that point.
