USB headphones won't work

So I have USB wired Logitech G933 Headphones, and Rocksmith doesn't seem to detect these as a viable sound output on PC, which is odd because they work just fine on my Mac. When i plug the headphones in via AUX cord, they work just fine. But I like the USB connection because the headphones are 7.1 surround sound, but if Rocksmith doesn't detect them, what should I do?

    Don't think 7.1 surround sound is needed in Rocksmith. If AUX works, I'd go with that. Other than that, I haven't a clue why they won't work. Rocksmith is finicky sometimes about these things.
