Wow, these beg + int songs for L&R are tough 3's and 4's.

Kicking off with the Bass!!

One play each, should smash Like Hell, it's a pretty cool song too! Abba was kind of tekkers, gonna need a few days on that one.

First plays of the week, decided to start with SA on bass

Not sure how I managed to mess up Eric Clapton... so easy

 

This one is even easier

 

Never heard the song but it's typical heavy metal and thus rather predictable to play :)

 

Same here - but I heard this song many times before

 

Never heard this ABBA song. Fun to play but I'd rate it as 7

For guitar, I'd probably switch beginner and intermediate songs. Eric Clapton's melody is easy but to get the actual song right, I'll need to practice a lot, especially the arpeggio in the rhythm, I had never played them before

 

 

 

Shinedown, on the other hand, is rather easy

 

Some relaxing bass after a days work.  Very nice.

 

I bought the shinedown pack, now I'm really starting to like them.  Nice pick!

 

This one was pretty fun, never heard of the group.  I hear a Van Halen influence tho...

I didn't do very well but with all things considered I'm pretty happy with it.

@ZeroPingNZ It looks like you are using the wrong "wonderful tonight"  Yours is 3 seconds longer. We are using a simplified version by Pc Plum.

Interesting week, here are me first tries on the new songs :

Bass :

 

Lead :

Clapton's is nice and I like the riff, but damn the song is slow... Shinedown is really interesting and makes a nice workout for the pinkie ;)

 

Rhythm :

Both are quite easy and there should be quite a lot of 100% this week
