Hello everyone.

My real tone cable no longer works on ps3. It's my second cable and it did not even last 6 months.

Apparently these cables are of very poor quality.

I will have to buy another one that will not last long again.

It bothers me to pay another cable that will last 6 months at most.

I do not understand why Ubisoft have not corrected the problem since the time with more robust cables.

Surely business.

You are lucky.

Yet I am rather careful.

My first cable lasted about 3 years but it is abused.

Well, I bought another one. I just have to wait.

Note that in many case, the cable break at the jack end which can be replaced with light soldering skills and 5$ of equipment.

Also mine is 6 years old. I suggest that you buy a Female/Female adapter and use a standard 10$ guitar cable as an extension to avoid putting additionnal stress on the RTC.

The problem is that in my case, I use it on ps3 so I would need in USB converter like the real cable real tone.

Mine is not even recognized by the game. It is not a problem of welding (it would have been too good) but a problem with the converter that lets go.

Thanks anyway firekorn.

@@Fedro I'm saying to use a standard cable in addition to the RTC, this way you relieve the stress on the RTC because it doesn't move and you are only stressing your guitar cable which are less expensive and easier to find/repair.

I especially believe that the problem comes from the internal components of the converter and not necessarily stress cable so nothing to do.

By cons I do not know the adaptation of a standard cable on the RTC.

Would you have a link to an image for example?

Thank you firekorn, I will look in this direction.

Have you already tested ?

You're sure it'll work on ps3 ?

Strangely, I do not feel that it fits a thing on a RTC câble

@@Fedro That's in case your RTC work as intended, you add that to the jack on the RTC and plug in your standard guitar cable to have an extension which also allow to avoid further stress at any point on the RTC itself.

Ok I understand better.

Sometimes I am long to understand.

Thank you so much. I will find that. Go is selling everywhere.

@@firekorn I finally put a USB extension between my ps3 and my cable real tone.

A bit like your trick but in the opposite direction.

Thanks for the tip.
