Just found out about cdlc and just saw these competition thing...looks like im gonna be into rocksmith a lot. Cheers!!

This is a bit too easy for advanced. It'd be on the easy side of intermediate in my opinion.

I wanted to get one score attack in to see how high of score I could get.

 

 

And then I had to try master mode.  I was probably looking at my hands a bunch anyway with the shifting in this song.

Yo @@R00PE - welcome, cool you are here! I think most of us know that exact situation you describe, for me thats been 4 1/2 years + or 230 playing weeks with no miss.

Just for the record, I don't want to be thrown to advanced because of this song. I reckon its difficulty is just 4, not 5.

Two hours in riff repeater?  You are my hero.  I was feeling silly playing a song 20 times.  You make me look downright moderate!

 

First attempt, 77 misses. 2 hours in riff repeater, down to 39 misses \o/ That middle part alone took me an hour to figure out and get up to speed.

 

Got midterms this week and next week so practice will probably slow down quite a bit

 

This one I feel has a lot of potential to be a great song but a few parts just feel off or lacking

May give a run at Rhythm, since my guess is that it's pretty similar.

Not my best run, but made it through without the notes!

 

 

And another run on Fun

Might have to drop pedal this one, the f's aren't registering unless I barely fret the string, so I'm getting a ton of extra misses there.

 

 

On the other hand I think I might be able to 100% the real gone thing before the new week.

Hey guys, I submitted some songs for the championship the other day. Today I went to submit one more, as JamePreston has created a song I requested. Looks like an anonymous user has deleted a couple of them for reasons unknown to me?

Down to 27 misses. Who would have guessed that practice helps? I had 8 misses at 90 % speed and 15 at 95 % :) before I tried that score attack again. I had no problem dealing with that middle part at 97 % in riff repeater, but at 98 % I started messing it up more and more. :lol:

Won't have much time until the end of this week for this contest but that little competition thing really fired up my motivation to play more guitar. Should be able to put out better score in the coming weeks . If i do a better score do i edit this post and post the new one or reply with the new score? Didnt saw anything about it in the rules. is the god of guitar song always 2 week?
