Got a bit better score but RS was acting weird tonight and not registering notes sometimes. I got aggravated and stopped grinding pretty fast.

 

This next one has nothing to do with the Championship but I'm so happy I got through with 99% I'm posting anyway. If anyone knows what difficulty this would be let me know. My hand hurts from this one so it's right at my maximum.

Note recognition is a bit strict on both songs

I think I figured out part of problem with this one, I think the game is not showing some chords it wants me to play.  Is anyone else having this problem?  I converted the file from PC to mac formats, I wonder if something got messed up.  

Spectre was super fun to play, seems too easy to be Advanced. Tommy-Gun is certainly a step up! Need to practice that one for a bit first  B)

First tries on Tommy Gun.  Wow...this one moves around a bit.  Well rated as a 3 on lead, but it is one of the more difficult 3s in my opinion.  The lyrics tho... :huh:  

 

 

Bass....oh no...we suck again!

 

Rhinoceros rhythm...I thought I just didn't like this song...

...but I really enjoyed the bass.  I think the volume of the song is just to low and I couldn't hear it with the rhythm part.  Really, the volume is way off.

 

Have a Nice Day, yeah, I rated this as a 3 initially....now I'm wondering what I was thinking.  yeah, 4 at least.  Still, I really like the chord progression!

99.27 % seemed to be the magic number for me. In this I somehow managed to mess up at the very end by doing the finishing strums couple of strums too early.

That intermediate lead seems so unappealing after this hell of a song :P

Hmm, okay, it's not so bad. Most of it is just easy strumming. Solo is nasty piece of work once again with those nasty bends.

2nd try on tommy would be competitive i guess, i hope i will find time.

I think this does count, because of the experimental rule about MM, but it was not intentional.

I'm surprised I got away with Spectre, I felt I was very sloppy. Score attack isn't usually forgiving with sloppy play, I got off lucky!

Played both versions of Tommy Gun and i think the E std one is easier.  But i do have 14 plays on it since before so that might be the reason behind it.

I just played this on E-standard tuning with the tabs I learnt from the E-standard version with the exception of strumming three strings instead of two at the power chords. That A#5 and D#5 has an extra strum in there, but I wouldn't say it makes it significantly harder (not that you did either). I think as far as grading goes, these are both 3.

I also played this in Eb-tuning with E-standard tabs (+1 fret shift due to tuning difference) and got the same result. So as far as the tabbing goes, they are nearly identical, just played from different positions. Tone is a bit more intrusive in the new version that includes bass tabs. Not sure why the author who re-tabbed this song chose to go with that open-string tabbing for the verse. Seems like that's an easy way to make it not sound good. :lol:
