@@Rodman, I think I'm getting credit for someone elses skills.  My highest on Oasis bass is this 98.76%, and the spreadsheet has me at 99.75%.  I think that 99.75% belongs to @@Telboy.

This was a pretty fun bass part.

I must say I prefer the He-man version but this is a great song!

Made this one sound somewhat decent. That tapping solo is a little ridiculous. I can never seem to get those to register even when I know the right notes. This one changes strings and frets pretty quickly. I've got plenty of other parts to work on in the meantime.

 

Tried Amorphis with a pick and it's definitely harder than with fingers due to my lack of experience

Been working on this for a few days; just cant get the chord changes fast enough on rhythm.  Both lead and rhythm I still have problems where I won't strum all the strings in the chord, which causes it to miss.  Can't clear Rhythm on score attack, but can on Lead with 1 or 2 strikes.

Hello, this is Álex, from Spain, and this is my first post in CustomsForge. First of all, thanks a lot because you're making learning electric guitar soooo fun. I bought my first electric guitar like three weeks ago. I have never played it before. I tried to learn classic guitar as a child without any luck (well, without any discipline). Now I have discovered RS and my son and myself are playing it a lot. But we are beginning to be beginners. 

 

I tried last week song, but I didn't arrived too far. I like a lot this week's song and at least I have achieved to play it at full difficulty on lead guitar. I know I will be the last for my poor achievement, but the important thing it's that I begin to participate.

This gave me the hope of acquiring the platinum pick. I originally said I am bad at open C chords, but it turns out I'm alright at those, just dreadful at F chord.

After about 10 tries of hitting 96 - 97 %, I finally managed to up my accuracy a bit and all phases were perfect before that brief break before the ending. Naturally I messed up a phase or two at the end :lol:

That was tougher at first glance than I expected

 

@@PinKushin If you don't like to detune your guitar then I highly recommend you invest in one of these

I use it for every non-standard song and it works like a charm. 

Was that supposed to link to a cab sim? I'm confused how that would allow me to virtually detune? 

 

edit 1: oh and I don't have to worry about hearing the strings ring out, I use headphones.  so glad I do too because I play with my action pretty low and might hear fret buzz if I didn't. Fret buzz drives me nuts but a 1/2in high action is impossible to play quickly.

 

edit 2: actually my setups pretty good, no fret buzz when fingerpicking unless I strike the string incorrectly.
