OH MAN! Been practicing this damn song all week and finally got 100% on it. I don't think I'll go for top score, cause I don't want to hear this song again any time soon.

Had my first guitar lesson yesterday. Homework is really boring. I think the teacher underestimated me, my first exercises are some slow rhythms (like 60-70 bpm) with E, Em, Am, C chords. Well, I am bad at chords, but not that much. Maybe I developed a horrible positioning with my hands in the past years and I have got to start from the beginning, for my health; I don't know. I didn't tell him we played more advanced things from Megadeth, Vektor, Tool, and many others. I can't play these as clean and accurate as I should, but come on, from the Championship to "first chords" is a good number of steps back.

 

So, after my exercises I got back to RS, and improved:

Forgot that R U Mine is also the beginner lead for this week. This isn't getting more than 1 try

 

I think these are my last updates for this week. I'm surprised how much I played this week. 92 full playthroughs and countless of restarts :blush:

Meaningless increase, accuracy is tied with Roddy, but his streak is better. So still 4th place thanks to @@blejusca hitting that magical 100 % :blink: You rock!

I think I forgot to post my try on advanced bass.  Pretty enjoyable to be honest.  Hope I don't have to explain the lyrics to the kids.

1) 2 week long East coast / West coast trips in the last 4 weeks. What time is it, what day is it?

ok i managed to get a couple of hours tonight, been hectic this last couple of weeks.

 

anyway heres some scores,

 

I chose the Arctic monkeys so you lot could push me to improve my scores so here goes,

 

my previous best was 95%

there is something about this song that just throws me.. the parts i get sound good but then i just make stupid mistakes.... one day i'll get it right.... maybe.

 

 

on to the Kings Of Leon, which is a great song and brings back memories of Wales where I saw them backing up Oasis and they Rocked the Stage, great band.

 

i got 100% on the other version and  could get this too given the time,

 

just gave this a few tries as i wanted to get the Lead up to a respectable score,

 

 

actually getting the hang of this, and it sounds ok as well which is always a bonus.

 

i'll be working on this for a while because i know i have a 99+ in me.

 

i have been told I'm not playing guitar tomorrow as it is my beautiful granddaughter's 3rd birthday day party and apparently Grandad is needed  :D

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

 I would like to stay down. I have played that song tons, and I do not think it reflects my current level. I am getting close, but after my 4 months of surgery recovery, I would like a little more time before I am thrown to the wolves.

I've definitely done better, but it's Oktoberfest so I need to submit something and the scores are only going downhill

After trying this song for an hour, this is my best... too hard for intermediate! Many chords still don't register no matter what pickups I use. I had the same issue with Bob Marley couple months ago

Oh, is that number of times you played a song in score attack?

Does that count all the times you restart when you miss a note halfway through? Cause I don't think it does hahahaha
