Hi, sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I was wondering what would be required to add lyrics to an existing CDLC.

So I have a CDLC. I created some lyrics using ultrastar creator which gave me a text file. I've unpacked my CDLC.

How do I get the text file into Rocksmith lyric format. Is it possible without totally recompiling the project from scratch in EOF? Maybe is it possible to recompile it using dummy settings and then reference the compiled Rocksmith ready lyric file in the original unpacked CDLC by editing an xml file to point to the new lyric file?

Basically I don't want to recreate everything I just want to add lyrics

Just import the vocals to eof and save the project and it should save an xml file into the projects directory

also make sure your using the audio from the custom so the sync is not off

To add the lyrics open the toolkit and click on import package and select the custom you want to add lyrics to, then add the lyrics xml file and it should work. If you didn't use the audio from the custom do this first as it extracts all of the audio and arrangements from the song which can be modified in eof (I think)

hope this was somewhat useful
