My entry for this week... though I feel like this song should not be "lead" but instead "rhythm" ?

 

Really like the songs this week. Had some note recognition problems in Bath Salts with some of the octave notes, but it usually means I'm just sloppy. I had never heard Highly Suspect before. I downloaded all of their songs on here and played through them. There are a few good ones. Serotonia was my favorite, other than Bath Salts.

 

 

This song is fun to play. Spent a little time in RR to make it through ScoreAttack. I got some more room for improvement.

 

Tried out some of the other songs.. I like the intermediate lead song but it was not too fun as a lead part, maybe just because it hurts my hand to play. Also my guitar has only 22 frets and even reaching the 19th fret on the yellow string is really hard so the last solo I was just spectating  :lol:

 

But the Oathsworn song though... really really cool and some great melodies. More fun to play that on 60% speed than the other songs at full speed for me this week I think. Played it for a few hours straight actually. Feel like I'll probably improve myself more by playing this slowly and trying to get faster over time. Kudos to anyone who can play it at 100%!

 

 

Alrighty. There's my 100% Beg Lead for Pink.  Hoping to get back to Oathsworn cause that was a damn fun song.  Bath Salts also a lot of fun, albeit I'm still stuck in 80% range.

 

 

Need some RR time with this one, that chord picking part messes me up.

Hey guys. Thanks for choosing my Highly Suspect - Bath Salts CDLC

I made this CDLC when I was just learning how to do it and you can kinda tell, so I've updated the Guitar Path to fix a lot of the bends, added slides, fixed a lot of the solo's syncing and I've done a little bit of cosmetic stuff. Feel free to download it and use that one instead if you prefer.
