I'm trying to make my first DLC but can't seem to figure out how to let notes overlap where one begins before the other. EOF cuts the previous note off where the next one begins, and while I can linknext to and add the first note  to the second to make the second appear as a chord, it seems it would indicate an extra strum that doesn't necessarily belong, and also inhibits the note length of that first note so that it has to match the second. 

 

Any help would be appreciated.

If you mark a note with "crazy" status (select the note and press T), it will be allowed to overlap a note after it that does not use any of the same lanes.
