I moved Rocksmith 2014 to a new win7 computer.  It is on a win7 computer sitting right next to the new one.  DLC works on the old win7 computer but not the new win7 computer.  I uninstalled rocksmith 2014 and reinstalled it with only cherub rock on there for dlc and then downloaded one song and it did not work.  It starts the song but when it gets to where the notes would start coming down it locks up the game and I have to go to task manager to to shut down the game.  Cherub rock will play, but no dlc from customsforge will play on this computer. Help!

I think you have to install a DLL file. D3DX9_42.DLL in the rocksmith directory. I may be wrong as its been awhile.

Shepardbr is right. You need to copy the dll file from your old computer to the new one, or get it here.

i searched for the file in my other computer to find out where exactly it goes in the program, etc, found it, copied it and moved it to my new computer through my homegroup network and got it to work.  Guys I really appreciate it.  Oh yeah, then I jammed a little, as much as I can at this point...
