This Intermediate (5) is fast but much less technical then last week's (5).

 

Here's my first attempts for this week. Tool always has some cool riffs to play and I really enjoy this song.

 

 

I never discovered Billy Talent until Rocksmith. There is some really cool guitar work in their songs, and I really like Surrender. My pinky is definitely getting stronger practicing this one. Still need more work.

Not quite sure how to differentiate between the two versions of Billy Talent. Any ideas? The bass charts are definitely different but both sound ok to me. Not sure about Lead, only played it once and it's way beyond my skill for now

They both quite playable files on both paths, but Watoosh's bass chart has extra notes and not as great a tone, while Cat's lead chart is missing notes and has really uncomfortable fingering in the chorus. So I gave each path its most accurate chart.

Too easy. Never heard it before.

 

Also tried Iron Maiden. Forgot to take the screen capture the 1st time I played it but this isn't a huge improvement :) Was like 75% the 1st time.

Ok, this is more difficult than a 3. Those quick changes to barre chords throw me, going to take lots of practicing.

A fun to play Rhythm song, hope to do better on this.

We need at least two songs in each guitar path. Since last time we didn't had any beginner and proper advanced, that's the ones I've added.

Spent some time in RR and made some improvement

I think i can get it up even higher. 

man..,, back after 4 days of pure rock, day 1 after my first Iron Maiden show and my fifth or sixth Billy Talent Performance...

And they are both in our lineup that week - i desperately need to grab a guitar!

 

(will have the time to write a few words on the performances tomorrow i hope, if you like)
