The good old classic :)

 

I felt that Gary Moore is easier then Perfect.

 

The difficulty comes from that hammered-on chord you play.

Not that tough, but has that fast part with pinky on E.

Damn arpeggios

First plays. Never heard any of the songs before

 

 

I still don't get why it shows 100%... it definitely sucked!

 

Even tried some Gary Moore. At least I got the intro solo!

 

 

 

 

I think this is (2). Definitely easier to play than Go-Go's

 

Really like this song, how come I never heard of this band before?

 

 

Not too bad for advanced!

Well this first song had me confused to the extreme, i had no idea ,on the sight read, or what on earth i was trying to hit.

 

After slowing it down to 50% i could see that it was a bit of hammering on to a barre chord shape.

 

So now i sort of know whats going on i just need to learn how to do it  :huh:

 

 

next was Jackyl which, considering that none of the 'E' string 3rd fret bends registered, was quite a good score,

 

 

so i had a few goes at the Go Go's to make me feel better,

 

 

 

not as easy as some make it look either, but nice fun song to play.

 

i think i'll give the Thunderbird a little play this afternoon to give my poor fingers a breather

RS want's me to work on the solo sections!

 

 

 

Bass time...... and i thought the Rhythm and lead hurt  :(

 

 

the 1,370,868 was when i missed the last bloody note  :D

 

 

I just can't get the bendy 'E' string bit

 

 

 

a bit too fast for my old hands, me thinks :rolleyes:

100% after 5 minutes of RR practice

 

 

Another 100%... It's definitely easier than the Go-Go's

 

This one is tough... I had to cheat a bit with bends :) can't play them on my thick strings of MIM Jazz. Quick hammers sound good too :)

 

Cannot sight reads that lead part at all.  Time for some serious RR.

Pretty fun, no idea what it says though.

First attempts for the week.

 

 

Hi !!

First time joining the competition and based on my results so far, I think I belong in beginner's class/

First tries, I hope I'll have some time to improve during the week...

 

We got the Beat - Bass:

One day - Bass:

We got the beat - Lead:

 

I do think that "One day" is easier than "We got the beat" on the bass. Maybe the latter should be a 4 ?

And if all 3's should be equivalent, I think that "Down on me" is underrated. Maybe it's just me as I wasn't able to get the rhythm and the bend, but I wasn't able to pass it neither in Lead, Rhythm or Bass...

 

Getting a little better on the solo part...

My fingers were already after some serious bending, so I probably could get a lil' better.
