Hi !

 

Long time without playing thanks to my brand new carpal tunnel syndrome... (happy forties)

 

Oh dear, I had the same. And to a degree still have it. Too much strain from guitar playing, computer work, motorcycling and sword fighting.  It never really goes away, says my orthopaedic.

 

I managed to keep it under control by switching keyboard layout to Dvorak, cutting down on mouse use, selling the bike and putting HEMA activities on hiatus. Guitar playing time increased, though :-)

Thanks I will ! first is wrist rest splint (very efficient until now...), next infiltration when necessary, a little surgery is the last step if it gets too painful (pretty common).

Slight improvement. Still can't get the (1) fret on E string to register every once in a while :(

 

Haven't tried this on RR but so far this is my best score. Played with fingers

P.S. Just noticed that my profile shows "Expert Guitarist". Lol yeah. My score shows it!

 

Having it sounding OK, but, nailing that picking pattern is gonna be interesting.

and i managed to get through the Master Mode on the Rhythm

 

 

and a tiny little plus on the Bass Riverside

 

 

if my Thunderbird would register some notes around the 14th - 16th fret it would be a bit higher

Some misses that should not happen.

 

It's exhausting but is kinda fun.

It's my cheap first guitar. I have already spent in repairs more than its buying price. I'm not sure if it's worth to spend some more, but I can't afford a good new guitar at the moment. I need to think about it a few days. Hope to come back soon. 

@MellonFarmer your lead will never be safe. Just as mine never is.

I think you should chart some 70’s-80’s punk, or wait until May and chart some of the new Arctic monkeys album lol

Mistake at Advanced rhythm on the leaderboards. My best is 94.67% with a streak of 107.
